Bittern Builders was established in 1989 by Cris Baker, who remains the sole proprietor. Cris passed the HNC in Building studies at distinction level in 1985. He has worked in the building trade for 25 years, and has built a solid reputation for providing good quality work at realistic prices. Cris lives in Berkhamsted and will work anywhere within the local area.

Bittern Builders has a wide range of tools and access equipment including a Kubota mini digger which is designed to go through narrow passageways for easy access to landscaping projects and garden clearance.

Landscaping is often carried out in conjunction with DC Garden Services.

The logo "Bittern" Builders was chosen as Cris has long been a keen bird watcher and naturalist.
